Objectives: The regional technical assistance (TA) aims to facilitate the deployment of solar energy at scale to support a clean energy transition in South Asia. It will help Asian Development Bank (ADB) developing member countries in the region by generating and disseminating knowledge to facilitate solar energy development and designing innovative financing models for solar investments. Countries initially involved include Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Objectives are in line with ADB South Asia DMCs strategies and its agreement with the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
