Study to support the evaluation and review of Audiovisual Media Services Directive

Objectives: The study under procurement aims to support the evaluation and review of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD). It aims to provide crucial information and data on how the Directive has been applied, assess the implementation's quantitative and qualitative aspects, and report on the provisions promoting European works. Furthermore, the study will identify potential regulatory amendments to enhance the Directive's application and objectives. The findings will form the basis of the European Commission's ex-post evaluation and impact assessment of possible proposals for revising the Directive, due by 19 December 2026, as well as support reporting on European works within the AVMSD framework.
