The objective is to dispose of high risk Polychlorinated Biphenyles (PCB) and improve the inventory management of transformers in the power sector in an environmentally sound manner. The objective is to facilitate the implementation of the duties, rights, and responsibilities of the Republic of Lebanon towards the Stockholm Convention by: (a) enhancing management of Persistent Organic Pollutants; and (b) drawing partnership to develop/implement a national strategy to eliminate the release of Polychlorinated Biphenyles.
