Rapid Needs Analysis in South Africa's Aquaculture Sector to Identify and Inform Technology Deployment

Objectives: The objective of this tender is to conduct a rapid needs analysis in South Africa’s aquaculture sector, focusing on informing the deployment of AgriTech, AquaTech, and AI solutions. This analysis aims to enhance the productivity, resilience, and market access of smallholder farmers and SMEs, focusing on gender inclusion by supporting women-led enterprises. The project will identify suitable provinces, technologies, partners, and suppliers to facilitate the effective introduction and maintenance of technological advancements in aquaculture, aligning with national strategies and ensuring climate resilience and scalability.
