EOI - Financial and Economic Analysis for the CEWA project - PECG

Objectives: The primary objective of this consultancy is to support the preparation of the Climate Services and Early Warning for Adaptation in Africa (CEWA) project in several African countries: Burundi, Cameroon, São Tomé & Príncipe, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The consultant will lead the drafting of the country strategic context study for the CEWA Project Appraisal Report (PAR), ensuring alignment with African Development Bank (AfDB) guidelines and World Meteorological Organization (WMO) priorities. This will encompass analyzing country and sectoral contexts, institutional frameworks, and development partner coordination, while justifying AfDB’s involvement in the project. The role also involves stakeholder engagement to ensure transparency and consensus on assessment findings. The consultancy will be remotely executed over a 6-week period, covering 20 working days.
