The Program Objective.
The program objective of the Southern Africa Trade and Transport Facilitation Program is to facilitate the movement of goods and people along the North-South Corridor (NSC), whilst supporting improvement in the services for Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) and road safety. This objective will be realized through a sequential improvement in the physical, institutional and social infrastructure in participating countries, and the strengthening of the management and monitoring on the corridor.
