Objective and Purpose of the Assignment

   
BWDB will engage an experienced Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to assist in the implementation 
of the RPs in the project areas. Cost of resettlement program will be borne by ADB and Government 
of Bangladesh. The NGO, to be hired, will be responsible to the Project Director, FRERMIP for 
performance of tasks. The main role of the RP Implementing NGO (INGO) will, therefore, be to 
implement the RPs as per the resettlement policy and spirit of the social development plan, ensure 
stakeholders participation as per the project need and provide technical assistance for 
compensating the APs as per RPs.
