The digitization of 4700 historical textbooks, and 43 linear metres of archives, with due care and attention to the fragility and variety of formats of the items.

The expected outputs are: File format: single page uncompressed TIFF, and a PDF-A for each textbook and archive file (all containing metadata)

(i) Technical metadata captured by scanning software should be part of the TIFF profile, as well as other important Dublin Core elements (e.g., title, etc.)

(ii)Text files with OCR data (XML or RTF)

All  enveloped in SIP
