The Kyrgyz Republic has received a grant from the International Donor Community toward the cost of Health and Social protection SWAp project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under Contract for Procurement of Lab equipment, furniture, consumables and glassware for Public Health facilities (Contract No.
2009-G-8-1).
The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply of laboratory equipment, furniture, consumables and glassware for Public Health facilities.
Description of separate lots is provided below:

Bidders can bid for one or more lots.
Bidders shall prepare and submit bids for each lot separately.
Bids for each lot will be evaluated separately and a contract awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder for each lot separately.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank?s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Qualifications requirements include:
(a) The Bidder shall have stable financial position.
Average annual turnover (defined as total amount of payments received by the supplier under executed or ongoing contracts) during each of the last 3 years shall be not less than:
- Lot I ? USD 368 000;
- Lot II ? USD 396 000;
- Lot III ? USD 223 000;
- Lot IV ? USD 743 000;
- Lot V ? USD 252 000.
(b) at least 2 successfully executed contracts for the supply of similar goods as main supplier during the last 3 years.
(c) The Bidder quoting for Lots I-IV shall demonstrate own or Agent?s capacity to provide after-sales services in the Purchaser?s country
(including on site assembly and start-up, training of the purchaser?s staff, maintenance of the goods supplied)
(d) The manufacturer
(s) of the Goods offered shall have experience in manufacturing similar type of goods for not less than last three
(3) years.
A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee 100 USD or equal sum in Kyrgyz Soms at the exchange rate of National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic as on the date of payment.
The method of payment will be by bank transfer to the below indicated bank account.
All charges related to bank transfer are to be covered by the bidders.
