Title: Organisation of Language Tests for the Purpose of Validation of the Knowledge of a Third Language by Officials and Other Servants of the EU at the Level B2 of the CEFR
Description: Under the Staff Regulations, staff of the European Union (EU) Institutions, Bodies and Agencies (hereinafter referred to as ‘I/B/A’) have to demonstrate their ability to work in a third language before their first promotion after recruitment. To this end, EPSO is responsible for defining and organising the assessment of language skills to ensure that the rules are applied in a standard and consistent manner. The subject of this call for tenders is the organisation of language tests for the purpose of validation of the knowledge of a third language by officials and other servants of the I/B/A at the level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The candidate may choose any one of the 24 official languages of the EU. The tests take place in examination centres or via remote proctoring through an internet-based testing (IBT) platform.
