1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UN Development Business No. 719 of 31 January 2008, revised May 03, 2011. 2. The Republic of Armenia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Health System Modernization Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for “Supply and installation of Medical and Patient Room Furniture for “Gavar Medical Center” CJSC, “Gyumri Medical Center” CJSC, “Alaverdi Medical Center” CJSC and “Abovyan Medical Center” CJSC”. 3. The “Health Project Implementation Unit” State Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply and installation of 5609 units of Medical and Patient Room furniture (totally 42 names). 4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits (edition of May 2004, revised October, 2006 and May, 2010), and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from “Health Project Implementation Unit” SA (e-mail: [email protected]) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM. 6.
