The project “Wastewater Collection and Treatment Zenica” is located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the City of Zenica and comprises the construction of new collectors, pumping stations and a wastewater treatment plant. The project aims for ensuring improvement of sewage disposal at socially acceptable costs
Requested Services:
Design and Build Works for Zenica Wastewater Treatment Plant. Qualified Contractors or Joint Ventures are invited to submit a Prequalification Document for the Design, Supply and Installation of WWTP Zenica. The new WWTP shall have a nominal treatment capacity of 70.000 P.E. in two lines of 35.000 P.E. and the treatment objective to meet the treated wastewater discharge standards according to the EU-directive 91/271/EEC, including nitrogen and phosphorus removal. The design of the plant shall allow the inclusion of a third treatment line in the future with a capacity of 35.000 P.E. The Contractor shall be responsible for the detailed design of the WWTP works following the requirements and criteria of the Conceptual design. The construction period of the WWTP including detailed design shall be 24 months followed by 12 months of Defects Notification Period (DNP). The DNP shall include a 6-months operation and maintenance period. It is further foreseen to assign to the Contractor of the WWTP with services for an operation assistance for a period of two years after start-up of the plant, or rather one year beyond DNP.
