The Ministry is developing a science park in Pentakomo to encourage innovation, business creation and economic development. The project focuses on collaboration between companies, universities and research centres, in a sustainable and inclusive framework. The park will provide modern infrastructure and aim to position Cyprus as a regional player in innovation.
Purpose: Stimulate innovation, R&D collaboration, and business creation through partnerships among academia, research institutes, and industry in a sustainable, inclusive environment.
Vision: Establish Cyprus as a regional innovation node with modern infrastructure and robust incentives.
The Ministry is looking for partners to develop and manage a science park in Pentakomo, Cyprus. Partners can choose a priority theme (energy, health, nanotechnology, digital) and benefit from an advantage if they are aligned with the recommended axes. The park will cover nearly 193 000 m2, of which 135 000 m2 will be for scientific activities. Partners will have to propose a comprehensive project (plan, business model, governance, technical studies) and ensure coordination with public, private and academic actors. The deadline for applications is 12 September 2025.
