United Water Supply Company of Georgia

LLC "United Water Supply Company of Georgia" (UWSCG) is a state-owned limited liability entity, whereas 100% of shares is owned by the state. The Company was established on January 14, 2010 based on Order N1-1/13 dated January 11, 2010, of Minister of Economy of Georgia. The United Water Supply Company of Georgia provides water supply and sanitation services to urban-type settlements throughout the country, except for Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Rustavi, Gardabani Municipality, and Adjara Autonomous Republic.

The organization of the Company is comprised of Tbilisi Head Office, 7 Regional Branches, and 50 Service Centers. The total number of employees of the Company amounts up to 2700 persons. 60% of the employees is working in technical field, 24% - in commercial/financial field, and 16% in administrative field.

The main activities of the Company are as follows: water extraction, treatment and supply; design, construction, maintenance and operation of water supply and wastewater networks. The company provides services to over 306 000 domestic customers, and up to 19 000 non-domestic customers.
