Description
The Commonwealth Secretariat is the main intergovernmental agency and central institution of the Commonwealth of Nations. It is responsible for facilitating co-operation between members; providing assistance for sustainable development and poverty eradication.
The Secretariat pursues programmes that are supportive of economic growth and development, good governance, respect for the rule of law and human rights, amongst other areas.
