Ministry of Emergencies and Affairs of Population Protection from the Consequences of the Chornobyl Catastrophe (Ukraine)

Ministry of Emergency was specified as central institution of administrative authority, which provides carrying out the state policy in the field of civil defence, population and territories protection from emergencies, prevention and resрonse to these emergencies, liquidation of their consequences and the consequences of Chornobyl catastrophe. The Ministry also governs entrusted management sphere and is responsible for its state and development.
