The Community Grants Hub (the Hub) administers community-based grants on behalf of Australian Government departments, agencies and organisations. With over 1100 staff and contractors across Australia, the Hub plays a critical role in designing, selecting, establishing and managing grants across the Australian Government.
The Hub supports nearly 33,000 community grants worth approximately $9.4 billion in grant recipient payments. This is expected to increase as more agencies and grant programs transition into the Hub.
Discover the benefits of how the Community Grants Hub works across Government to provide streamlined grants administration.
The Community Grants Hub delivers end-to-end grant administration services to Australian Government client agencies. Client agencies retain their responsibility for grant policy and the development of funding programs, while the Hub manages funding agreements and processes payments.
The Hub, managed by the Department of Social Services, has responsibility for coordinating and supporting client agencies by administering community grants to support their policy outcomes.
