Within the scope of its attributions, the Ministry of Economy and Finance is in charge of the general orientation of the Economic and Financial Policy of the Government and the management of the State's assets.
More specifically, the main missions of the Ministry are:
Design, develop and implement the Government's public finance policy;
Develop and enforce the regulation of for-profit games;
To ensure the mobilization of non-tax revenue;
Develop and enforce the public procurement regulations;
To ensure the collection, analysis and dissemination of economic and financial information;
Representing the state in negotiations with development partners and signing financial agreements and agreements;
Define the public debt policy and ensure its application;
To ensure the control of the management of Public Finances;
To ensure the supervision of the financial participations of the State;
To ensure the financial supervision of public enterprises and those with public participation;
To participate in the promotion of private investments;
Participate in the development of financial system regulations
Participate in diagnostic studies and perspectives for the design, development, monitoring and evaluation of public policies;
Participate in the drafting of financial laws and the monitoring of their execution;
Participate in the setting of monetary and exchange rate policy objectives in collaboration with the monetary authorities;
Take into account the environmental dimension in the programs and projects of the sector;
Promote gender and equity in the sector's activities.
