MISSIONS:
The Ministry of Road Equipment and Road Enforcement is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Government's policy of equipping the country with infrastructure in the fields of public works. In this capacity, and in liaison with the various ministerial departments concerned, he has the initiative and responsibility for the following actions:
1. In the field of roads and engineering structures: Project management, monitoring of the design and construction of road network infrastructure, as well as their maintenance, and the regulation of their management.
ORGANIZATION:
For the exercise of its powers, the Ministry of Equipment and Road Enters has:
- From a cabinet

- Twenty-two (22) Regional Directorates of Economic Infrastructures
- Fifty-eight (58) Departmental Directorates of Equipment and Road Enters

GENERAL AND CENTRAL DIRECTIONS: The General Directorate of Road Infrastructures (DGIR);

The Minister of Equipment and Road Enginer exercises oversight and technical control over establishments and organizations whose mission falls within the scope of his powers, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force. Those are :
Road Management Agency (AGEROUTE);
Road Maintenance Fund (FER)
Laboratory of Building and Public Works (LBTP)
