To remain at the forefront of developments in public-sector auditing, we plan our strategic development and audit priorities in advance. Our core objectives are set out in multi-year strategies. 
 
Our latest strategy covers the period from 2018 to 2020 inclusive. It focuses on fostering trust in the EU through independent audit and providing insight into what works and what does not work in EU spending and other action. 
 
Our strategic goals for 2018-2020:
