Description

UNICEF has immediate concerns for the health of young children, particularly related to nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, as well as mosquito nets to protect from dengue and malaria. As days go by, ensuring all children are able to go back to school is also a key priority.

UNICEF Thailand will support those children most affected with a cash grant. This grant will enable their families to meet the urgent nutrition, health and hygiene needs of children as well as secure essential school supplies so they may return to learning. In addition, UNICEF will identify evacuation sites in need of child-friendly spaces to monitor and respond to potential cases in need of child protection.
