Description

UNOPS has been operating in Somalia since 1995. We support our partners’ projects in a range of sectors, including health, governance and civil society, conflict prevention and resolution, peace and security, and emergency response.

We work in close partnership with the Government of Somalia and development partners, to deliver a diverse portfolio that combines research and assessment work, engineering and other project design, procurement of works and services, as well as construction and logistics/supply chain operations management.

Currently, our trusted financial management services are helping to reinforce peace and security throughout the country by supporting law-enforcement activities in Somalia.

Somalia continues to be one of UNOPS largest countries of delivery.
