The creation, building, and upkeep of infrastructure and public works initiatives in Myanmar are overseen by the Ministry of Construction of Myanmar (also known as Burma). This government body is in charge of implementing policies, plans, and projects related to the building and maintenance of structures, roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure around the nation.
Its vision is to: promote the expansion of the urban, housing, and transportation sectors across the nation, improve the social and economic status of all people through the systematic modernization of the country’s construction sector, construct roads and bridges to reduce barriers, decrease transportation costs, and save time, and to enhance the standard of living by providing suitable housing.
