Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established to develop school education in their country.

The main tasks and activities of the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan are as follows:

Implementation of the single state policy aimed at the development of the public education system, the comprehensive development of general secondary and extra-curricular education, the further development of the knowledge and moral and spiritual level of students;
Implementation of organizational and methodological measures for the introduction of 11-year secondary education through the integration of secondary education and secondary vocational and professional education institutions;
Coordinate the activities of public education institutions in general education secondary schools for 10-11th grade students in accordance with state educational standards for general education and extracurricular education and methodical guidance on vocational training of pupils;
Implementation of complex measures to ensure the effectiveness of teaching foreign languages in secondary education institutions, to improve the quality of education for pupils in vocational education and training;
Implementation of effective forms and methods of education, taking into account modern advanced forms of teaching and learning process, new pedagogical and information technologies, optimization of educational, psychological and physical load of students;
Organization and publication of a new generation of educational and methodological literature developed in accordance with updated curricula and programs, using the advanced pedagogical and information-communication technologies that meet international standards in terms of content and quality;
Improving the activities of orphanages, providing social and psychological rehabilitation and legal protection of children left without parental care, promoting their social and labor skills and their integration into society;
Further improvement of the effectiveness of measures to ensure social guarantees for children with disabilities (including inclusive) who are in need of treatment and rehabilitation, create an adaptive environment for their education, special educational institutions (schools, boarding schools) coordination of activities;
Educating students in the spirit of universal values, high spirituality, humanism, deeper integration of the ideas of independence into their hearts and minds, strengthening the immune system in the form of "mass culture" through effective organization of the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan in public education institutions;
Systematic monitoring of the implementation of public education standards and requirements by general and extracurricular education institutions;
Ensure that targeted and effective use of budgetary funds in the educational institutions and compliance with budget discipline;
Coordination and monitoring of the effective use of buildings and structures in educational institutions.
