APSPDCL - Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (India)

Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) was established in 2000 to serve the districts of Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa with the goal of being an efficient utility producing reliable and quality power, encouraging economic growth and being commercially self-sufficient.

To achieve this, its goals are to reduce energy pilferage, reduce the number of uncommon cases, reduce arrears, keep technical/transmission losses to a minimum, reduce transformer failures, reduce O&M costs and maintain a moving stock of extra DTRs at each substation level to prevent delays in replacing failing units.
