Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Côte d’Ivoire)

In Côte d'Ivoire , the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is the ministry in charge of Agricultural, Land, and Food Policy.
As such, reforms were necessary to enable the agricultural sector to support the economic and social development of our country.
With the aim of making our country emergent, a program to revitalize and modernize the agricultural sector has been put in place, namely the PNIA, the National Agricultural Investment Program, which revolves around 4 strategic objectives which are:

• Food Security and Sovereignty.
• Sustainable Management of Cash and Export Crops.
• Private Sector Engagement through Strengthening Investments.
• Agricultural Governance in terms of reforms of agricultural sectors, restructuring of professional agricultural organizations and implementation of the law on rural land.
