Municipal Development Agency / Agence de Développement Municipal (Senegal)

Mission

to promote communal development by supporting municipalities;
carry out interventions aimed at facilitating the recovery of the economic and financial situation of municipalities;
contribute to the mobilization of financing for the benefit of the communes both externally and for the implementation of priority investment programs;
foster the development of delegated management of urban services
provide the necessary support to the administrations directly concerned so that they contribute to the development effort of the municipalities;
carry out municipal development projects and programs;
implement a communication policy designed to promote awareness of the agency's work with the population and municipal officials;

Direction

Outside of its general direction, the municipal development agency has three directorates that are:

the administrative and financial management;
the technical direction;
the direction of institutional support;
