The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training develops and implements the national policy in the fields of employment and vocational training.
In this capacity, he is responsible in particular for:

the preparation and implementation of actions and measures for the defense and promotion of employment;
the development of vocational training with a view to contributing to the strengthening of national skills, meeting the needs of the labor market and ensuring the social and professional integration of young people and adults;
participation in implementation, in liaison with other ministers and relevant actors, of measures aimed at achieving a better match between employment and training and developing entrepreneurship.
