Following the decree n ° 2008-438 of May 05th, 2008 modified and supplemented by the decrees n ° 2009-980 of the 14th
July 2009 and No. 2011-485 of September 6, 2011, then repealed by Decree No. 2015-141 of 17
February 2015 setting the powers of the Minister of Justice, Minister of Justice, as well as the organization
Ministry, the mission of the Ministry of Justice is:

"To ensure the rule of law and ensure that the administration of justice is trustworthy, inclusive and respectful of human rights"

The Ministry of Justice is responsible for:

strengthen the anti-corruption system and sanctions for corruption in the judicial system
to improve the legal environment to ensure the speed and transparency of litigation through the reform of laws aimed at simplifying court proceedings and developing business
speed up processing of pending cases in all jurisdictions
promote respect for human rights and strengthen their protection
humanize prison detention.

To accomplish this mission, global objectives are set and three (03) programs are set up.
to achieve them.
