Ministry of Education, University and Vocational Training (Galicia)

The Ministry of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and Universities is the body of the Xunta de Galicia in charge of cultural affairs and the regulation of education from primary to university education , vocational training and adult education. The current holder is Román Rodríguez González . The Ministry of Education and University Planning began by being called only Education, and is one of the most stable departments in the history of the Xunta de Galicia, as it corresponds to its functions. In addition, and until the year 2005 , it was the department in charge of the management of language policy , a function that it recovered from 2009 . In 2012 he took over the functions of the defunct Ministry of Culture .
