Ministry of Economic Planning and Development of Eswatini

The Ministry's mission is to support the Government in developing, coordinating, and implementing economic policies and intervention strategies that will successfully and effectively achieve the key economic and development goals of the entire country. It aims to advance competent macroeconomic management that will create a supportive environment for long-term economic development and successful service delivery. Some of the Ministry's functions involve:

• Making a thorough description of aid policy.
• Creating frameworks for development aid.
• Keeping donor profiles up to date and engaging in resource mobilization.
• Evaluating programs and initiatives that development partners will sponsor.
• Participating in the creation of financing agreements.
• Assisting in creating the work plans for a project supported by a donor.
• Keeping track of all external funds in a database.
• Monitoring the development of initiatives and programs financed by donors.
• Analyzing and auditing the projects supported by donors.
