MISSIONS OF THE MINISTRY OF HYDRAULICS

The Ministry of Hydraulics is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the Government's Hydraulics policy.

As such, and in liaison with the various ministerial departments concerned, he has the initiative and responsibility for the following actions:

· Participation in the monitoring and protection of water resources;

· Infrastructure management of the drinking water sector;

· Development of drinking water supply infrastructure in urban and rural areas;

· Development and monitoring of regulations in the field of studies, construction and operation of hydraulic structures.
