Description

Mission: MGAP is responsible for setting and executing policies that contribute to the development of the agricultural, agribusiness and fisheries sectors, ensuring, promoting and controlling the supply to the domestic market of food and raw materials in quantity, quality and opportunity, such as ensuring the insertion of production in regional, extra-regional markets; as well as the sustainable use and management of natural resources, and the improvement of the quality of life of the population in general and in particular of the rural.

Vision: a proactive and participatory MGAP that promotes, regulates and orders production, that stimulates the integration of productive chains with the participation of the public and private sector, with transparency and equity; to capture new markets for production; that decentralize and regionalize its management to make it efficient; maintain and improve health status permanently; that stimulates the generation of work in the productive chains; to train producers and workers; That the internal market develops.

Objectives: The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries is responsible for contributing to the permanent development of the agricultural, agribusiness and fisheries sectors, promoting their insertion in regional tranto markets as extra-regional, based on the management and sustainable use of natural resources.
