Description

The Ministry of Economy, Finance in charge of Industry and Planning is responsible for the implementation and coordination of economic and financial policy, the management of wealth, resources and debt of the 'State, financial control of monetary and credit institutions.

In terms of economic planning, the Ministry of Economy and Finance in charge of Industry and Planning, prepares the strategic directions of the National Initiative for Social Development (INDS).

It designs and implements industrial development policy and strategic directions, as well as regional competitiveness and economic integration policy. As such, it prepares and implements, jointly with the relevant Ministries, the regional harmonization and integration policy.

It is responsible for the design and implementation, jointly with the relevant Ministries, of the economic development policy for the regions of the national territory. In this capacity, he is also responsible for the development of local taxation as part of the development of the regions.
It prepares and implements government policy on consumption and purchasing power.

The Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of Industry and Planning is responsible, jointly with the Minister delegate in charge of the Budget, for the development and implementation of the budgetary and fiscal policy of the Government as well that of the Government's policy in terms of mobilizing internal resources for financing and external revenue and relations with development partners.

The Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of Industry and Planning implements the guidelines of the Government's policy in matters of small and medium-sized enterprises, trade, crafts and formalization jointly with the Delegate Ministry in charge of SME Trade, Handicrafts, Tourism and Formalization.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance in charge of Industry and Planning (MEFIP) includes:

◊ A Delegate Ministry in charge of the Budget;
◊ A Delegate Ministry in charge of SME Trade, Handicrafts, Tourism and Formalization;
◊ The Cabinets of Ministers and a General Inspection of Finances;
◊ Transversal bodies;
◊ Central Directions;
◊ Organizations under supervision.

The transversal bodies are the departments placed both under the authority of the Minister of Economy and Finance as well as under the authority of the Ministers delegated to the Ministry of Economy and Finance in charge of Industry and Planning . It's about :
