Description

The National Authority for Vocational Education, referred to as ANEP for short, is the Regulatory and Quality Assurance body for Vocational Education in Mozambique.

ANEP was created by Law no. 23/2014 of 23 September which was subsequently amended and
republished by Law no. 6/2016 of 16 June, within the framework of the Professional Education Reform underway in the country.
With this Reform, the Government promotes relevant and quality Vocational Education to provide young people and adults with professional skills, necessary to ensure the implementation of Mozambique's development and progress policies and plans.

In effect, the Government intends to achieve two main strategic objectives:

Train professionally competent and enterprising citizens.
Making Mozambican businesses and the economy more competitive in the context of regional integration and the challenges imposed by globalization.
