Description
The Road Agency of Burundi was created by Decree No. 100/080 of May 22, 2019 having dissolved three former General Directorates including the Office des Routes (OdR), the National Road Fund (FRN) and the Rental Agency Material (ALM).
The AGENCY Routière du Burundi "ARB" in acronym is an administrative establishment; ARB has legal personality, its own assets and management autonomy.
The ARB's mission is to:
- Ensure multi-year planning;
-supervise and coordinate road maintenance activities,
- build new roads
- to mobilize financial resources in order to ensure the financing of the road network.
