Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie

The Seine-Normandy water agency is a public establishment of the State, placed under the supervision of two ministries: the ministry in charge of ecology and the ministry in charge of Finances.

The water agency finances works and actions which contribute to preserving water resources and fighting against pollution, while respecting the development of economic activities, in its area of competence: the hydrographic basin of the Seine and Norman coastal rivers .

To do this, it collects fees from all users. These are redistributed in the form of grants and / or advances to local authorities, manufacturers, artisans, farmers or associations that undertake actions to protect the natural environment.
