The Podkarpackie Voivodship Office in Rzeszów ensures that the Podkarpackie Voivode performs tasks resulting from the function of the Voivode:
1) a representative of the Council of Ministers in the voivodship;
2) the head of the combined government administration in the voivodship;
3) a combined government administration body in the voivodship;
4) supervisory body over the activities of local government units and their associations in terms of legality;
5) a government administration body in a voivodship whose jurisdiction covers all matters related to government administration in a voivodship not reserved in separate acts to the properties of other organs of this administration;
6) a representative of the Treasury, to the extent and on the principles set out in separate provisions;
7) a higher-level authority within the meaning of the Act of 14 June 1960 - Code of Administrative Procedure (Journal of Laws of 2016, item 23, as amended);
8) the body obliged to ensure the management of state-owned real estate in the voivodship in a manner consistent with the principles of sound economy.
