Description
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is Switzerland’s international cooperation agency within the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and is responsible for the overall coordination of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) to Pakistan delivered by the Swiss Confederation.
Switzerland has been delivering development and humanitarian assistance through the SDC in Pakistan since 1966, investing a total amount of around 680 million Swiss Francs. In recent years, the SDC has concentrated its efforts on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province and the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) near the Afghan border, contributing to stability through equitable and sustainable management of natural resources and by promoting good governance and human rights.
