The Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries (MPCIP) of Ecuador has the responsibility for promoting Ecuador's strategic involvement within world trade through product development, increased integral competitiveness, value chain development, and investments.
The Ministry intends to be a benchmark institution in the optimal execution of public policy in the productive, trade, and investment areas by 2030 based on the national and international market competitiveness. An important part of MPCIP is Pro Ecuador which is responsible for carrying out policies and laws aimed at promoting Ecuadorian exports and investments.
It offers special attention to investors’ requirements and generates specialized agendas as well as providing technical advice to Ecuadorian entrepreneurs and exporters by continually generating useful information for potential investors which allows them to realize the advantages and investment opportunities that the Ecuadorian market presents.
