Service Public Federal Finance (FPS) is a government agency established in 2002 in Brussels, Belgium. About 2000 employees work for SPF to fulfil its role of being a service provider for citizens.
FPS works for the community. Its team of professionals collects taxes in a correct and equitable manner and ensures the appropriate allocation of resources for projects that all citizens can benefit from (projects related to infrastructure, education, security, social facilities, etc.). FPS focuses primarily on the proper and effective execution of its missions and key tasks. Its key tasks include collecting taxes fairly and on time, guaranteeing optimal financing by ensuring the balance of the State Treasury, guaranteeing the legal security of legal movement of goods by providing asset data, controlling imports, exports and the transit of goods flows, preventing all forms of fraud and crime and providing political expertise and support.
