The Mexican Secretaria of Public Education (SEP) is a federal government authority responsible for overseeing the establishment and execution of the Mexican national educational policy and school standards. To generate citizens' trust and credibility, SEP aims to build a transparent and improved Ministry of Public Education with a preventive and corrective approach in line with legislation. Its activities include the creation and maintenance of state public schools, supervision, systematic organization of the educational processes, administering and enriching libraries and other facilities related to education institutions.
