Charitable giving and volunteerism are an integral part of Duke Energy's commitment to the communities we serve. Strong, vibrant communities do not happen by accident. They are the result of hard work, significant investments of time and key partnerships to solve daunting challenges.

The Duke Energy Foundation provides grants to charitable nonprofit organizations in alignment with the Foundation's four main areas of focus: the Environment, Economic Development, Education and Community Vitality.

In addition, our employees and retirees help build and nurture the places we call home through gifts to various community programs and by volunteering our time and efforts.
