Description
FAO supports the government of the Republic of Namibia in the development of programmes that will meet these objectives. This is outlined in the Country Programming Framework for Namibia 2019-2023 (CPF) sets out the four government priority areas to guide FAO partnership:
Strengthened policy, legal, strategic and institutional frameworks for agriculture, fisheries, forestry, food security and nutrition; Improved agricultural production, productivity, food safety and strengthened nutrition sensitive value chains; Strengthened capacity for natural resource management and land governance; Strengthened capacity for disaster risk reduction, resilience building and climate change adaptation and mitigation.
