Description
FAO partnership with the Government of Moldova is guided by three national priority areas: Increasing competitiveness of the agrifood sector; fostering sustainable agriculture and rural development; and improving capacity for sustainable management of natural resources and disaster risk. FAO has been providing significant support to the country in plant and animal genetic resources development; nationalization and implementation of relevant SDGs; and to smallholder farms in innovation technologies and irrigation.
