Basis Bank

Basisbank, the financial institution with one of the longest histories in the Georgian banking market, was established in 1993, by a group of friends with GEL 5 million of capital. With assets exceeding GEL 1 billion, Basisbank is among the top six Georgian banks today, enjoying recognition by a number of international partners for its stable growth path and financial transparency.

In 2012, Basisbank became a member of Hualing Group, the largest Chinese conglomerate, owning over 90% of the bank's shares today. Hualing Group is one of the largest investors in Georgia, with over $ 600 million of the total project value.

Basisbank is a universal financial institution offering full range of banking services to its retail clients, as well as small, medium and large companies via its service centers located in both the capital city and the regions. The bank also offers a wide choice of remote banking services.

In 2018, Basisbank Group was further enhanced with new subsidiaries: Hualing Insurance and BHL Leasing. The Bank's holding development facilitates the growth of the Basisbank share in the market and enables the group customers to obtain the full package of banking, insurance and leasing services at a single space.
