Agency of International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea

Agency of IFAS can participate in activities related to the implementation of joint projects and programs, and act as a founder and finance various events — both at the national and regional levels in the territory of IFAS member states (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan).

The IFAS Agency provides practical management and implementation of projects and programs on the problems of the Aral Sea basin and is accountable to the IFAS Executive Committee.

The Agency of IFAS coordinates, finances, monitors, announces tenders, concludes contracts, organizes procurement, and supplies of equipment, materials and other resources, hires firms, companies, individuals and legal entities to carry out projects and programs, their components and subcomponents, certain types of work and events.
