To achieve the above vision, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has its main mission:

Strengthen and promote the implementation of relevant international laws, regulations and conventions to ensure better working conditions and maintaining harmonious industrial relations.
Improve workplace health and safety, prevent the use of child labor, and promote the rights of migrant workers.
Strengthening the development and implementation of the Cambodian Qualification Framework, national standards, competencies, programs and curriculum based on competency and test documentation throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia in order to promote a more efficient and effective system of education, technical and vocational training. Publicly known nationally and internationally.
Transforming Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) into the development of industry and community needs.
Strengthen the implementation of equitable vocational training principles with a particular focus on women, gender, handicapped, marginalized, marginalized, marginalized, and drop-out students.
