Description
Colombia is the first country in Latin America and the Caribbean that managed to structure and launch a Fondo Nacional de Pago por Resultados (Payment for Results Fund), one of the most innovative instruments for leveraging and executing social programs. With this instrument, it will support vulnerable populations that have seen their family income reduced and, in many cases, have lost their jobs due to the economic, social and ecological emergency caused by COVID-19 and mandatory isolation.
Prosperidad Social is the entity responsible for designing, coordinating and implementing public policies to overcome poverty and social equity.
