In 2006, Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA) was created to localize Eurasia Foundation’s operations with offices in Almaty, Kazakhstan; Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; and Dushanbe, Tajikistan. EFCA collaborates with donors, governments, foundations, corporations, intergovernmental organizations, universities, and individuals working in the region, including AES Corporation, Philip Morris Kazakhstan, Chevron Corporation, ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc., and the governments of Great Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the U.S.
